Basketball: Keystone Habits, "What Hinders You?"

Take a holistic path to growth. In Atomic Habits, author James Clear defines "Keystone Habits" as: habits that lead to other actions.
List our current habits, prioritize them, and stack positive habits. For example, if texting, television watching, or video games waste time, substitute productive habits. Author David Mamet engraves on the back of his wristwatch, "what hinders you?

What behaviors belong as basketball keystone habits building - education (BBIQ), training (athleticism), practice (skill), mindfulness (emotional IQ/resilience)? For example, proper sleep and nutrition belong to all.

For example, in your shooting workout (skill) are you building form and consistency 'inside out' (shooting close to the basket) or jumping out to the three-point line?
Do we have a morning routine or daily routine, including education? Just as Don Meyer kept basketball, general knowledge, and personal notebooks, divide education among personal, professional, and basketball. Decide what works for you.

"Winners are trackers". We've discussed the MUST, NEED, WANT system of priority.

Our "musts" still limit us. Failing to contain the dribbler results in needing help and rotation. Good teams with quicker guards break down our defense exposing our limitations. We can't score in the 40s consistently (eighth grade girls), regardless of game tempo. Increasing defensive practice time (versus live offense) should improve both phases.

Define success as finding better, more consistent process, and accepting that we only control our habits and process.
