Golden State Warriors 2.0 Offensive Upgrade

Coach Nick at BBallBreakdown shares the Kerr difference. Check out the video; I've provided annotations.

No matter what level you coach or play, the addition of theory to practice (execution) can improve your shot quality and offensive efficiency.

  • High ball screen with weak side off ball screen
  • Floppy (option cuts off low screens, ideal for excellent shooters)
  • Beautiful horns action with weak side ball screen and back cut (critically they have excellent post player feeders)
  • Horns with staggered screens (e.g. 1, 4) for Warriors' devastating shooters
  • Scissors action out of "Triangle-like" sets creating cutters or downscreens freeing up perimeter shooters (note with scissors action passer cuts first by convention)
Horns action into weak side off-the-ball screen and roll. Action creates potential open perimeter shot or a layup. Even if that's not there, 2 still has continuation option with 4 in the high ball screen (not shown).
