Ten Tickets to Paradise

Warren Buffett has advised investors to wait for the 'fat pitch' and asked if you could only make twenty purchases in your investing life, wouldn't you be more selective?

If you could only give ten pieces of advice to your players, what would they be?

  1. Bring a great attitude with you every day. "Control what you can control."
  2. How you treat people is what they will remember. "People don't quit jobs; people quit people."
  3. Develop a consistent process to move forward. "If you want to become more, then you have to do more."
  4. "I believe in you."
  5. "You make your habits and then your habits make you."
  6. Learn every day.
  7. Have a growth mindset.
  8. Time is your most valuable commodity. Invest it; don't spend it.
  9. Everyone can become a great teammate.
  10. Decisions determine destiny.
