"See the game." Coaches give players vision. Most players do not know the game. We share but they learn slowly.
I'm departing 'play calling' to freelance and "freedom". Your game...make it happen.
Here are 'core concepts' I promote...3 on 3 inside the 'split'.
Left, simple post split. Passer goes first.
Right, core 'triangle' speed cuts.
Left, wing entry UCLA cut. 5 can then roll (if post game) or ball screen and roll.
Right, wing entry, off ball screen for 5 to get mismatch.
Left, "blind pig". Ideal for overplay defenses. 1 can be second cutter.
Right, off ball screen, ideal to establish "flex action" with pass to C and 5 downscreens.
These actions are like reciting the alphabet to coaches...but an exotic language for many players.
