Management by walking around (MBWA) allows leaders to experience the products and services. Seeing and experiencing problems helps us create better practices.
What items belong on our TO DO list?
1. Improve our drill book, practice schedules, and playbook. "The film is made in the editing room."
2. Study video and share with players. This is what you did. What did you see and what choices did you have?
3. Prioritize dialogue and feedback with players. How can we make practice and the experience of being on the team more valuable to you? I haven't done anywhere near enough of the latter.
4. Coaches miss a lot of time from families. Thank families for the sacrifices they make and make the time we have more quality time.
5. Thank a mentor or an assistant for their contribution to our coaching experience.
