1) Pace
- The speed in which you are moving into and out of the screen.
2) Angle
- The direction the screener is sending the cutter/BH’er.
3) Location
- The location of the screen will determine how much floor space will be available after the screen.
4) Physicality

- The level of contact the screener makes with the on ball or cutter’s defender. This will determine the amount of separation the BH’er or cutter will have AFTER using the screen.
5) Early “Peek”
- The screeners ability to get their eyes over their shoulder.
