Basketball: Vertical Jump Aids

I bought a medium tension resistance band (shown in the video) from Amazon and tried several of the exercises. I'm trying to build leg strength for fall prevention (I'm old). 

Fortunately, there were no Wile E. Coyote moments. 


  • Spanish squat
  • Hip extension
  • Backward lunges 
  • Forward jump with resistance 

It wasn't as easy finding a stabilizing post but found one in the corner of my yard. 

The exercises were challenging but manageable and low impact. Here's a quick link to the video.
