  • When it's important to become disruptive.
We share what we believe in.

Our passion will reach our audience

Analytics help us but they don't drive us.

Our audience will find us because of our passion.

Add weight and meaning.

Where does our world collide?

We assemble a jigsaw puzzle of ideas... (remember Dawn Staley's love of puzzles)

"It's important to understand on a bigger scale what's going on in the world." (We don't address politics or cultural controversy with our young players, but that seems unavoidable with older...e.g. college...players)


On an airplane, a passenger told Wintour that he loved Vogue, "chic, elegant, and classic...it would never be Madonna...that always stayed with me." Break the mold

"You are leading. You are not following." 

"Some ideas simply will not work." 

"Own your mistakes." 

"Choose your controversies." We can't constantly inhabit controversy.

Recognize when personalities and issues are forces of nature in our world (that might apply to Dennis Rodman or nowadays Kevin Durant and his business investment platforms)

Balance opportunity and risk.

Stay connected with the real world (don't live in a silo of denial)
