Craft our reality well. Live and coach with joy, not surliness.
Happiness expert Professor Shawn Achor advises us to write three items of gratitude each evening. As coaches, reflect on three things we're grateful for during the past week. Yours will differ.
1) Cecilia's family shared a picture of their daughter starting her first day of college this week, while their youngest was starting first grade.
2) Youngest grandson Mac Maloney walked around yesterday carrying the Spaulding T1000 basketball. He's not even two, but he loves basketballs.
3) Every day I feel blessed to share basketball and other "ideas for better living." Perhaps a few resonate with readers, inspiring a few laughs, tears, and possible applications for their process.

Lagniappe 2. Absolutely deserves to be on a poster in every locker room.
The start of basketball work is upon us, just a friendly reminder that you can have 99 problems but guarding the ball can’t be one

Lagniappe 3. Your system has to work for you, teachable by you, and relatable to your players. They need to know and embrace it.
